Music

I have performed in venues ranging from barrooms to historic theaters to music festivals in the United States and abroad since 2010. I sing and play banjo, ukulele, and accordion (though not all at the same time). My main musical project is The Twangles, a Lawrence-based acoustic duo that specializes in reviving forgotten blues and jazz songs, especially those that center queer perspectives and narratives, as well as reimagining contemporary pop songs as old-time standards.
